ЕКФРАЗИС І МЕТАЕКФРАЗИС В ЕСЕ ДЖУЛІАНА БАРНСА ПРО КАРТИНУ ТЕОДОРА ЖЕРІКО «ПЛІТ МЕДУЗИ»: КОГНІТИВНО-ПОЕТОЛОГІЧНИЙ АНАЛІЗ

Статтю присвячено вивченню когнітивно-поетологічного ракурсу взаємодії екфрастичних та метаекфрастичних контекстів в есе Джуліана Барнса про живописне полотно Теодора Жеріко «Пліт медузи». Запропоновано використовувати термін «метаекфрастичний контекст» на позначення таких фрагментів есе, які, не будучи безпосереднім екфрастичним описом картини, мають тісний смисловий зв’язок з екфрастичними описами. У дослідженні застосовано методологічний апарат когнітивної поетики. У результаті аналізу з’ясовано, що смислову взаємодію екфрастичних та метаекфрастичних контекстів у тексті есе забезпечують такі лінгвокогнітивні й лінгвопоетологічні засоби як діалогічність, гіпотетична модальність та концептуальна метафора.
